We are excited to announce that after a successful online auction, the church has now completed on the purchase of 11 Canon Square.
The house is currently arranged as 4 self-contained 1-bedroom flats having been previously owned by a housing association.
However as the photos from the listing show, it is in need of considerable renovation after being abandoned for the past several years during the Covid pandemic.
Our aim is to convert the ground floor and rear cottage into church office space, meeting rooms, and children & youth space. The middle and top floors will be retained as flats to generate rental income (to help with the running costs of the project), and hopefully accommodation for future staff members.
